Julius Mih
Julius Mih is a highly accomplished and dedicated senior educational professional, widely recognized for his expertise in education policy formulation and implementation. His career in education spans over three decades, starting as an educator, where he worked diligently to empower and inspire teacher-trainers. Seeing the need for systemic change, he transitioned into policymaking, with the goal of transforming education at the national level.
Julius has held several influential positions in the government, including serving as the Director of Bilingualism at the Ministry of Basic Education. In this role, he led the development and implementation of innovative policies aimed at improving access to quality education, promoting inclusive practices, and supporting lifelong learning. Additionally, he has worked as a project coordinator on multiple World Bank and UNESCO projects with the Government of Cameroon, focusing on curriculum design and implementation, textbook policy, capacity building, and developing partnerships with non-state actors.
Julius Mih holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and a Master of Research in Applied Linguistics. He has 31 years of experience as a qualified teacher, having completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (Secondary). He is also in the final stages of his PhD studies.
